Seminar on Holy Months
A seminar was conducted for the young learners of junior section . Mr Nebi Tosun explained the importance and significance of the islamic months Rajab,Shaban and Ramazan.He explained that in the month of Rajab we should recite Sura Ikhlas more and more. He explained that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) ascended to Heavens on the 27th of Rajab .
He explained that Shaban is one of the meritorious months for which we find some particular instructions in the sunnah of prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).Shaban is the month immediately preceding the month of Ramadan.
About the month of Ramadan he explained that in this month we should keep fast. We should read Quran . We should give more charity. He explained that Qur'an was revealed on the 27th night of Ramadan from the "Lauhe Mahfooz" (on 7th heaven) to 1st heaven. He explained that this is the most blessed month in which lies a night more greater in virtue than 1,000 months; (LAYLATUL-QADR). It is a month in which each day should be observed by fasting, this has been made obligatory by the Almighty Allah."Eid is the gift for the Muslims.
Seminar on Traffic Rules Awareness
Mobile Education Unit of National Highways and Motorways Police visited PakTurk International Schools and Colleges, Junior Section Islamabad for conducting a Seminar to the students of Junior and pre-school section on Road safety. Teams include Dr. Mehmood Ali Khokhar and Inspector Shereen.
The students gathered in multimedia room for having presentation about Road Safety.They were very enthusiastic and they asked number of questions. Dr. Mehmood Ali Khokhar advised the students that they should always fasten their seat belts while traveling, they should not let their parents/ Drivers to use the mobile phone during driving and will not force them for over speeding.
The guests also distributed gifts among the students.
PakTurk 2B Stars Visited Faisal Masjid and Marghazar Zoo
FAISAL MASJID:
Students of class 2 visited Faisal Masjid on Thursday the 24th May 2012. Faisal Masjid Islamabad is famous for its unique architecture, huge size and beautiful background of Margala Hills. Students enjoyed this trip too much where they were also given information about facts of this great masjid.
The young learners visited the main hall too, where they got mesmerized by the design and beauty of this wonderful masjid. They were informed that the hall has capacity of 10,000 worshipers.
MARGHAZAR ZOO:
Zoo is a centre of attraction for the children. Class two kids visited Marghazar Zoo Islamabad. The kids were pleased to see their favourite animals. They saw elephant, deer, wolf, monkeys, ostrich and many other animals and birds. The students were given information about the animals
This trip was both enjoyable and informative for the young scholars.
Mother's Day Celebration
Mother's Day was celebrated at PakTurk International Schools Junior Section Islamabad G-10. PakTurk stars of 2B showed their love for their mothers. They sang songs, acted in a skit and prepared cards for their loving mothers. Many mothers also attended the program. They were extremely happy to see creative skills of their children.
